At Thomas Grady Service Center, our Prevocational Services are designed to prepare individuals for meaningful employment opportunities in the community. These services are offered either on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting, always taking place outside of the home, family home, or residential environment to promote independence and workplace readiness.
Through contracted service opportunities, participants gain hands-on experience while developing essential job-related skills. Our program focuses on teaching the specific tasks and workplace behaviors needed to succeed in community employment, such as following directions, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving. By bridging the gap between learning and real-world application, we help individuals build confidence, strengthen their abilities, and move closer to achieving their career goals.
